TECHNICAL OBJECTIVES
  • Develop a communications and multiprocessor hardware hierarchy for incorporation into Fidelity
  • Develop multiprocessor graph partitioning algorithms and integrate with NetSyn

STATUS
  • Ongoing research relationship with Omniview supporting Fidelity
  • Multicomputer Partitioner based on bin-packing developed and tested with NetSyn
BENEFITS
  • Supports the extension of the Omniview Fidelity tool to multiprocessor system synthesis
  • Provides alternative automated partitioning and mapping choices for architecture tradeoff tools

RASSP: Supported research aids commercial tool developers
