Architecture Toolset - Lockheed Martin ATL, MCCI, Omniview, Verilog

OBJECTIVES
  • Develop and make commercially available a RASSP integrated architecture tool; the tool will perform the architecture selection and verification of the RASSP hardware/software codesign methodology.
  • Architecture tool will support the following:
    • Algorithm development
    • Algorithm partitioning/mapping
    • Performance simulation
    • Autocode generation (command and application)
  • Redirection of Integrated Performance Simulation effort)
FEATURES/CAPABILITIES
GEDAE Graphical hardware and software description
  Functional simulation
  Partitioning and mapping
PMW Performance simulation before and after completing graph functionality
  VHDL input/export
Autocode Tools Efficient real-time software autocoding
  Run-time system
Object GEODE Command program simulation and autocoding
OTHER EFFORTS
  • Business market survey being conducted to establish:
    • Market viability
    • Target user
    • Competitive analysis
    • Price sensitivity
    • Functionality requirements
    • Distribution channels
  • Establishing business model to be used for reaching an agreement among the developers on how to pursue the market
  • Identifying future investment needs to support and to improve the product

Architecture selection and verification are tightly coupled through multiple
levels of performance simulation with common visualization/center
