Engineers Week

ATL celebrates National Engineers Week from February 18 to February 24, 2007. This National event began in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers during the week of George Washington's birthday to increase public awareness and appreciation of the engineering profession. Activities at ATL included a free breakfast for employees and an "Authors and Inventors" lunch for employees that either wrote papers, submitted patent applications, or received a patent in 2006.
